Vintiga Site Relaunch

This post has been a long time in coming…

  January 1, 2026 the new site launched!

It may not look different on the surface. I assure you, it has been completely redesigned with intention and purpose.  The original version was based on a layout from a template meant for a WordPress theme and everything had to be coded manually (ugh! { or whatever phrase Tim uses to say that is headache inducing}).  With the old system, I had complete control, but it took a lot of time and was really limiting. Can we say time-consuming and limiting?   It was annoying to maintain and as a result, it wasn’t updated often.

After some time and much consideration, a three-part plan was created.

1.      Create a new SquareSpace system for the content and reduce the sheer amount of content.  Although it may not be the best fit, it is currently the best option.  In the future, you will see information about this in a separate blog post.

2.      Create a blog and slowly rotate in new content, while removing the older items.  The blog section will be gradually refined over time.

3.      Change the setup of the store over the course of the year.
